Left Behind (2014) Set to Release October 3rd

left behind movie 2014

A newer, bigger version of the Left Behind movie series is set to release this October 3rd 2014.  This Left Behind movie will feature A list actors such as Nicolas Cage, Chad Michael Murray and Leah Thompson.

As with the previous Left Behind movies this movie will feature a small group of people that survive after millions of people suddenly vanish in the rapture; an event of God’s children being brought up to heaven while the others are left to endure pure pandemonium.

While the thought of a rapture is accepted by many Christians there are also many that believe this will not happen and that Christians will stay down while the chaos and destruction take place in order to witness and win over those who are still unsaved.  Regardless of your viewpoints this Left Behind movie should be entertaining nonetheless.

In my opinion the expectations for this movie being Biblically accurate are quite low, and I expect the “Hollywood” aspect of this type of movie to stray away from the Bible and add in a bunch of side story fillers that stray from the Bible and a whole lot of action to make this movie interesting.

It will definitely be an interesting movie that if nothing else will get people looking into the truth of what they have just seen in the Bible, or will get them at least thinking about the possibility of and end like this.  As long as Bible based movies continue to come out and aren’t completely butchered like Noah, I will be happy because we have way too much garbage out there now.

For those of you who are interested in possibly seeing this Left Behind movie here is a trailer for it below.

Will Tim LaHaye Be Left Behind?

The end is here – the end of millionaire Tim LaHaye’s big “Left Behind” cash cow!

Even Dr. John Walvoord, the longtime No. 1 pretrib rapture authority, agrees with LaHaye’s big name critics (like John Piper and William Craig) that “Left Behind” theology is NON-BIBLICAL!

Walvoord’s book “The Rapture Question” states on p. 168f that the wicked in Matthew 24 are “taken” first and the righteous are “left behind – which is just the OPPOSITE of the theological foundation of “Left Behind” books and movies (including the upcoming movie starring Nicolas Cage) where the righteous are “taken” first and the wicked are “left behind”!

If Walvoord’s view of Matthew 24 is correct, is he actually saying that “righteous” Tim LaHaye will be among those who are “left behind”?

For a riveting article on all this, Google “The ‘Left Behind’ Rupture” by journalist Dave MacPherson which Joe Ortiz aired on Aug. 12 on his widely read “End Times Passover” blog.

To learn more about the Tim who’s been making LaHay while LaSun’s been shining, Google “LaHaye’s Temperament,” “Pretrib Rapture Diehards,” and “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty.” The “Left Behind” theology is also seen in Google articles like “Pretrib Rapture Pride,” “Walvoord Melts Ice,” and “Thomas Ice (Bloopers).”
