Noah (2014) Preview – In Theaters March 28

Director Darren Aronofsky and his long awaited film “Noah” is on its way to the big screens with a release date of March 28 2014. The movie is an action packed hollywood version of the story of Noah that boasts some big name actors such as: Russel Crowe, Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, and Anthony Hopkins.

For those who are not familiar with the story of Noah, the basic premise of the historical story is that God gave word to Noah that he was to build an ark as God was going destroy the earth. During the building of the Ark Noah receives much harassment from people living in the surrounding area due to unbelief in what God had told him.

After the ark is built and Noah is safely on board along with a male and female of every animal species God stays true to his word and unleashes the “Great Flood”.

While it is hard to tell how closely the movie relates to the events of the Bible, based on the trailer released yesterday, it looks to be fairly close, and also adds some very good CGI animation as well as some great special effects that will likely bring this story to life as it unfolds in front of you.
