Having an attitude of thanksgiving and gratitude is really the key to being happy and finding joy in your life no matter where you are or what you’re going through. There are many thankful Bible verses given to us in the Word of God, that show how much God wants us to be thankful to Him, and for all of the other positives that we have in life.

Picking out the negatives and focusing on them is the easy part, and it is a sure fire way to become depressed, unhappy and develop a bad attitude that permeates throughout your life. God tells us in the Bible that we are to look to Him, give our problems to Him, and give thanks for what He has blessed us with no matter how little or how big.

Having an attitude of gratitude and giving thanks to the Lord shows Him that we are looking only to Him and His goodness, instead of focusing on the negatives that the world is throwing our way. In doing this we are putting our full faith in Christ to help us and to give us the grace to make it through anything we are currently going through.
