25 Comforting Bible Verses about Death

If there is one thing that we can be absolutely certain about in this life it is death. Death is one of the most feared events that plague the thoughts of many people.  As Christians and believers of Jesus Christ however, we can take comfort in the fact that our real life with Christ comes after we leave this world.  The life that we have on this earth is only a test if you will, once we have
passed the test of being true to God down on the earth we are promoted to heaven.  Here are 25 comforting bible verses about death that will take the fear and turn it into joy.

Luke 14:13-14 – “Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. Then at the resurrection of the righteous, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you.”

Luke 20:36 – “and they will never die again.  In this respect they will be like angels.  They are children of God and children of the resurrection.”

John 11:25 “Jesus told her, I am the resurrection and the life.  Anyone who believes in me will live even after dying.”

1 Corinthians 15:23 “But there is an order to this resurrection:  Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when He comes back.”

John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, that who ever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”
