He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. Afterward, you should come together again so that Satan won’t be able to tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”

1 Corinthians 7:10,11 “But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord.  A wife must not leave her husband. But if she does leave him, let her remain single or else be reconciled to him. And the husband must not leave his wife.”

2 Corinthians 6:18 “And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
