Daily Bible Verse – Isaiah 41:10

Today’s Bible Verse – March 10 2014
Isaiah 41:10
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

My Thoughts:

There is a general fear that strikes the lives of many throughout our world today. The world has become so engulfed with sin and is now reaping the consequences of greed, murder, selfishness, pride and violence. The world has become a scary place, where most today don’t even feel safe in their own homes. On top of this we have economic and political scares, that threaten our very privacy, freedoms and ability to provide financially for our families.

While all of this sounds discouraging and impossible to get away from, we as children of God can rest assured that God will take care of us no matter what the world throws at us. God tells us in the verse above that He will strengthen us and will help us, and through the power of Jesus Christ we will end up victorious.

We are in a battle both physically here on earth and spiritually, and while we may receive bruises, scars or other woulds caused by battle we know that the enemy, and those who follow Him cannot win against us because God is on our side and protects us as His children. It is important that we remember that no matter what battle comes our way that we keep our eyes and our faith on God for protection and deliverance, because alone we will fail.

If you are struggling with fear of the things going on in today’s world I would encourage you to place your faith and trust in the Lord, and take to heart this Bible verse. Remember that If God is for us, then who can be against us?. Nobody, no battle, and no situation can stand against God and win, we are the children of God and we will prevail every time.
