Have you ever started a day out on the wrong foot, or maybe started the day on the right foot but an obstacle appeared and it suddenly caused your good day to turn into a terrible day.?
There are many times in life where we let things such as the weather, somebody’s opinion, traffic, or whatever ruin our day. Once something negative happens, we tend to write the day off as terrible and hope that tomorrow will be better. We often forget that life, just being able to have breath in our lungs each day is a gift from God in and of itself.
Just as the Bible verse states, God has made and will continue to make each and every day that we are a part of and we should continually thank God and give Him praise for being able to be alive, and enjoy the life we have with our families and friends. While I don’t believe that God caused bad things to happen to us, I believe that He uses these negative situations and obstacles to grow our faith and our trust in Him.
We need to renew our mindset, each and every morning that we get up. We need to say to ourselves “This is the day the Lord has made and I will choose to rejoice and be glad in it, no matter what negative situation comes my way, today Lord I will rejoice and worship you and I will choose to look at and use those negative situations to learn and grow from them. Thank you Lord for this day that you have made”.
I guarantee you this will not be easy, and you will likely fail at times, but I would encourage you to continue rejoicing, worshiping, and thanking God each and every day, no matter what happens, good or bad and you will begin to transform your mindset into a positive, receptive mindset that will inevitably make your days more enjoyable, fruitful, and constructive.
