Faith according to scripture (Hebrews 1:11) is “the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Living our lives by faith is the way that Christ calls us to live and it is crucial to our walk with Christ and the strengthening of this relationship.
Fear is the way of Satan and he will use fear to attack your faith. When we are in fear or fall victim to fear we take our eyes off Christ and our faith in what Christ said in His Word and we begin to depend on our own strength and our own brains to get us out of the situation we are in.
Joyce Meyers in her sermon Faith vs Fear she teaches on the difference between the two and does a great job of helping us to understand what true faith is and how we can overcome this fear that the enemy continually tries to attack us with.
Joyce Meyer is an incredibly gifted speaker and a very Godly woman who has much revelation of the Bible in the area of fear, faith and the mindset. If this Joyce Meyer sermon on faith vs fear has encouraged you I would encourage you to check out her books “Living Courageously: You Can Face Anything, Just Do It Afraid. and Be Anxious for Nothing: The Art of Casting Your Cares and Resting in God”
